• Re: Commercial skip add-in not installed
the addin in 1.2.x.x only works with vista; so it won't install.
That'll be the reason then. Thanks.

  • Commercial skip add-in not installed

Hi I recently moved from DTB 1.1.0.4 to DTB 1.2.1.6, and now the commercial skip add-in is not installed. I did a manual uninstall  as per the instructions on the wiki, in fact I've done it twice. After the uninstall there is no sign of DTB on my XP MCE 2005(with rollup) system. DTB 1.2.1.6 installs cleanly, and the only thing I do is ...

  • Re: Can't get 'Process Directory' to work

babgvant:it might work if you set it as the preferred decoder in dvr2wmv.  if that doesn't work, i'll have to add the ability to set a preferred decoder to the action.  Sorry, it didn't work. I set the preferred encoder in DVR2WMVStandalone to be Nvidia, but Graphedit still shows DVRMSToolbox using the Cyberlink decoder. ...

  • Re: Can't get 'Process Directory' to work

babgvant:if you have graphedit, you can connect to the graph that dtb uses. OK Graphedit shows that DVRMSToolbox is using the old Cyberlink decoder. So how can I change it to the Nvidia decoder which is also installed on my machine?

  • Re: Can't get 'Process Directory' to work

babgvant:sorry about that... i forgot to include durrant.common.dll in the zip.  I've updated it, so it should work now.  Thanks for the update. The set of six conversions seem to work OK :-)) and I think I am using the Nvidia decoder, but I can't be sure. How do you change the decoder to be used with DVRMSToolbox? Or even ...

  • Re: Can't get 'Process Directory' to work

babgvant:Cyberlink has a trial version of it's dvd decoder on it's website... Sometimes the trialness is only enforced in the application, so the dshow filters (the part you need) will continue to work... The strange thing about these decoders is there doesn't seem to be one that works for everyone all the time.  I've had the ...

  • Re: Can't get 'Process Directory' to work

babgvant:maybe you should try cyberlink's decoder... some have reported that it worked better for them than nvidia's   Eventually found a Cyberlink decoder on an old Asus Terminator installation CD(didn't want to buy one, it may not work) from 2001, and yes the results are much better. I wonder why? This decoder is ...

  • Re: Can't get 'Process Directory' to work

babgvant:that's an interesting message... indicates that dvr2wmv reported an issue with the nvidia mpeg decoder... i wonder if that's the problem.  I downloaded the trial version of the Nvidia Pure Decoder. This is what I get:   Processing now... Convert DVR-MS to WMV using DVR2WMV Begin conversion of C:\To be ...

blobby: babgvant:does sleeping work?    Not with a two minute sleep between commands. :-( I've set it going again with a ten minute delay. Will post back what happens.....  10 Minutes didn't work. Neither did 1 hour, although, bizarrely, it was the second of the three conversions that worked on this occasion, ...
