I remapped the disable to something like F20 so that I know the key handling works and is not being disabled.  I have tried to map the forward and back to numbers that are not assigned to channels, but it still dosn't work. babgvant:there's no way to detect if the mini-guide is displayed.  you can try remapping the buttons to the numbers (they aren't used when playing a recorded show). No good, when I use the numbers it changes channels even when watching a recorded TV program.

Does anyone have a fix for the commercial skip left/right keys conflicting with the mini guide function? I think that DVRMSToolbox needs to be modified to ignore the keys when the mini guide is visible. The other option would be to map the left/right keys to the only free buttons (* and #), but I can't get that to work.

I have been trying out Frontview both on an MCE2005 and Vista systems.I now wish to uninstall it, but whenever I uninstall it breaks the message mechanism. So all other programs that use media centre messages (ie DvrmsToolbox Commercial skip and LCDWriter utilities) fail to work.If I reinstall frontview they start to work again. Does anyone ...
