  • todvrms to dvr-ms problems

I'm having various problems with converting AVI or MKV files to DVR-MS or WTV. 1. In order to diagnose the problems, I first converted files to MPG format using Mencoder, then tried to convert the files from MPG to DVR-MS or WTV. todvrms 1.0.1.2 produces working DVR-MS files, but they are about 25...

  • Re: WTV conversion does not complete?

I'm having this same issue; have been converting MKVs to WTVs now with not-too-many hiccups. From a 5.5 GB file to a 15 GB file, they all stop around 1GB. It wouldn't bother me too much except it's a different size, roughly around 1GB, every time I try, so I'm not sure what's quitting...

  • Re: MPEG-TS (MPEG-2 Video) to DVR-MS

I ran into this same problem. I was converting mkv's created by makemkv, contained original DVD mpeg-2 and ac3 audio, and like clock work got the extra time reported. The files played fine all the way through the video and then stop instead of going all the way through the extra time. FF and Rew...

  • MKV to WTV using ToDVRMS

Could someone please give me a little guidance? I'd like to remux my library of HD MKV files to WTV (so I can use ff/rw on extenders.) What is the best way to do this? Which codecs will I need? Is there an easy way to integrate the subtitle files? I'm currently running a virgin Windows 7 Ultimate...

  • Transcode WMV to WTV or DVR-MS

Hello, I'm having trouble trying to create either a .WTV or .DVR-MS file from my WMV file. The WMV is a MPEG2 video which I would like to view in the Media Center native recorded tv gallary. I saw dvrmstoolbox supports transcode from MKV to WTV so i assumed WMV is also supported. Here is the log...

  • todvrms metadata

First of all, Andy thanks for all of your tools! My HTPC experience would be totally different without them. I'm using todvrms in a batch script to convert my optical DVDs to dvr-ms files. It's streamlined and works perfectly for me. The only issue is when the titles get played back they are...
