  • DVRMSToolbox and Show Analyzer do not work well together

Hello please help, I have a show that is HDTV and a couple hours long. If I run it inside of Show Analyzer's schoolhouse all is well, it sees all the commercials. If I then set DVRMSToolbox to use SA and attempt to use the profile: remove commercial and copy DVRMS - it seems to see the commercials...

  • ShowAnalyzer now supports Teletext

Hey all, I know I've been out of the loop for a while but to make up for it, here is a major advance for European users. I just posted Version 0.9.4 here: http://www.dragonglobal.org/dl/file.php?id=37 . It includes, for the first time ever, the ability to extract teletext subtitles. It also uses...

  • Detect if Show, Episode Already exist before starting any processing.

There seems to be no good way up front before running any profiles to test if a particular show and episode might already exist in my output directory. Because the MCE naming is by channel and time, there isn't a way to determine show & episode from the file name. I usually end up renaming the...

  • Question for babgvant: "Create Failure" when burning re-spliced dvrms files in MCE 2005

babgvant It appears that the re-spliced dvrms files no longer can be burned to a dvd after version 1.1.0.7 removes the commercials. Is there a fix for this problem? I now have about 100 cutdvrmsfiles that can not be burned to a DVD. I get the old "CREATE FAILURE" error that I used to get when...

  • Re: 1.1.0.6 comskip issue...

By recording, your talking about trying to run comskip on something that is still in the recording process, or trying to run the comskip proccess on an already recorded file, while another recording is taking place in the background, or runinng the comskip proccess on a already recorded file, while MCE...

  • Re: Support for Mediacorder drives

Stephen Toub's blog has full source code to various methods for working with dvr-ms files. And can even save the closed captioning data so you can search based on dialog in the show, its all in c# .net maybe there is something in there that can help. But I think you have everything already, you already...

  • Support for Mediacorder drives

I got a Mediacorder hd media drive to record TV shows from Mediacenter. I would like to use your tool to automatically remove commercials, compress the file, re-add the meta data and then shoot this to the cartridges and delete the original off the regular drive. If I can trim 1/2 hour tv shows down...

  • Cannot figure this out

I know this is probably really simple and I am just missing it. I have installed the program. What do I do? Do I just sit and wait and it performs the actions automatically. I did click on a program to watch and it asked if I wanted to add the program to the process. I clicked yes. Do I need to watch...

  • Converting back to dvr-ms doesn't compress as well as just to a mpeg

The profile for convert to mpeg using ffdshow compresses the original dvr-ms file extremely well. But you lose all the valuable TVGuide data this way. it seems the only profile that does this which creates another dvr-ms file doesn't keep the good compression, it's about only 1 meg smaller than...
