Based on your title, I’m assuming you wish to convert the DVR-MS files into MPEG files. I don’t know if you also use the commercial skip functionality of Dtb, however, the profile that was run for this show was the commercial detection profile. If you are running this from the GUI, please make sure you select a profile that converts DVR-MS files to MPEG. Also, there is a checkbox that says “Use Selected Profile” please make sure it is checked. If it isn’t checked, Dtb will use the Processing Conditions to determine what profile to use.
Once you have it working in the GUI, you can set this up to happen automatically if you wish. However, you will have to play around with Processing Conditions so Dtb selects the correct profile. The commercial detection profile uses ShowAnalyzer to detect the commercials and create the XML file that the Dtb addin uses to skip the commercials. If you wish to change this, you have a few options.
1) you could just change the Commercial Detection Profile to detect the commercials and then convert to MPEG.
2) you could just create a new Processing Condition for the shows you wish to convert and point them to the profile “DVR-MS to MPEG with FFmpeg”. If you do this, you will have to go into Processing Conditions and change the “Every File” to your new profile. Or, if you wish to only convert certain shows, you will have to setup a Processing Condition for the shows you want to convert (this will leave “Every File” pointed to the Commercial Detection profile so commercial skip still will work.
Hopefully this helps get you started.
