    Trouble Installing DVRMSToolBox: Error 1001

I was having trouble skipping commercials so I Uninstalled DVRMSToolBox and ShowAnalyzer. Now when I go to reinstall DVRMSToolBox I get Eroor 101: Another Instance is running. I ran through the manual uninstallation process and nothing I still keep getting the same error. I also used Microsoft newest FitIT tool and still nothing. Any ideas short of reinstalling Windows 7?

I am having the same problem. Did the delete service and got a success message, however, I still get the same error. What was your next step?

Actually, for some reason, when I clicked one of the settings buttons it downloaded Showanalyzer and all was well.

I had the same problem. Ended up reinstalling windows, I'm afraid.  When I did, I discovered that everything worked great as long as I only used the administrator account that I installed Windows with.  As soon as I started using a separate standard account, I started having problems.  TV that I watched with the regular account would flicker and then I discovered that I couldn't repair, uninstall or reinstall DVRMSToolbox.  So, for now, the only solution I've come up with is to reinstall windows and only use the administrator account that you create during installation.
