    BSOD after resume from sleep

The LCD writer works great with my nmediapc VFD except one small problem.  With the LCD writer installed I will get a BSOD after some period of time after resuming from sleep.  Let me know if I can provide any additional info, thanks!

BSOD are caused by drivers or hw failures - try using a different rev of the driver.

Thanks,  I have tried different versions of your LCD driver without luck.  Everytime I uninstall your LCD driver and go back to using the V.L. Sys driver the BSOD stop.  Is there a diffent driver I should try updating/replacing?

lcdwriter isn't a driver - it's a sw layer that tells the driver what to do. Try the driver that came with the display, I had a similar problem with the one that installed from windows update.

I installed the latest USB driver for my display reinsalled your writer and got a BSOD within 10 minutes after resuming sleep.  I uninstalled the LCD writer and installed M.Play and my display works fine and my system can sleep without causing a crash after resuming.  If you have any other sugestions let me know I'd be happy to give it a try.

Are you using the LCDSmartie wrapper or the native version?

I am assuming I am using the native driver.  I am using the nmedia PRO-LCD with the drivers from here - http://www.nmediapc.com/LCD/download.htm

After I install the driver your application I configure it to use the ComPort.dll and leave everything else as default.

Try the lcdsmartie wrapper w/ it's display writer dll.  I never finished my implementation because that worked really well.
