    XP/MCE - No FileWatcher Ouput files

    Ver: 1.1.0.8

    In DVRMStoMPEGSettings.exe, selected "Convert DVR-MS file to MPEG" in DVRMSToolbox tab, and selected Save button. [this closes the window every time I select it; is that correct?]

    File Watcher runs something [log shows entries of "FW Begin Process" and several dvr-ms file names], but no output files appear anywhere on my drive [search for *.mpg].

    Output folder is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\DVRMSToolBox\Output

    ProcessArg is: /if="{0}" /of="{1}"

    LogWrite is checked

     Manual run of DVRMStoMPEGGUI.exe successfully creates mpg files.

    What am I overlooking?

    Re: XP/MCE - No FileWatcher Ouput files

    I'll try this again - the last two times when I tried to post my reply it just errored out.

    I want to automatically convert my dvr-ms files to MPG after the show finishes.  I have a wireless media player that will let me play MPG files on my TV in another room, but it does not recognize dvr-ms files.  I do not need to remove commercials or any other "fine-tuning", I just need an MPG format file.  Based on the log files something is happening, but there do not seem to be any MPG files created.  I can create them manually in the GUI exe, but File Watcher does not create them.

    In addition to the other info I posted, here are the contents of the text files produced for a typical show:

    File in FW log folder:

    InputFile=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Recorded TV\in plain sight_usap_30_06_2010_21_57_03.dvr-ms
    Processing actions, this may take some time!!
    Testing "Processed Files"
    Testing "Every File"
    "Every File" is a match.
    Profile = nativecommdetect
    ProcessId = 5892
    DvrmsToolbox Version: 1.1.0.8
    Throttle DVRMStoMPEG
    FWThrottle: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Recorded TV\in plain sight_usap_30_06_2010_21_57_03.dvr-ms

    You need to go into processing condition editor and change your profile to create mpeg. Right now it is just set to scan to commercials which it is doing.
