    Delete Log Files Automatically..

    Hi Andy!

Quick question with regard to 1.1.0.8 and XP MCE - I'm wondering if there is any way to have the log files automatically deleted from C:\Program Files\DVRMSToolbox\FWLogs a day or so after the file has been processed?

I have it configured to delete the edl files and the xml files but I can't seem to find a way to delete the log files from C:\Program Files\DVRMSToolbox\FWLogs

Is it possible or am I looking for something that doesn't exist in this flavor?

    Thanks!

It doesn't exist in any flavor.  Personally, I'd write a bat file and run it as a scheduled task.

Thanks Andy - I just figured it must have existed because it deletes the *.edl files  I appreciate the fast response :-)

It's not a bad idea, I just hate to delete log files automatically.

I could see that if a person wanted to go back and see why a process failed only to find the log deleted.

You know, if the box for cleaning up *.edl files also allowed a person to enter *.log then it would be perfect. You could choose a  cleanup frequency for both and set it to whatever you wanted.

I think that would be ideal for the 1.1.0.9 XP release that, deep inside, you know you really want to make :-)
