Is there any way to pipe the subtitle tracks of a mkv into a wtv file?  How would I go about converting the subtitles into a 'dvb' compatible format?

I wonder this too.

I would like to know how MS is storing the subtitle information in their WTV files.

I have tried muxing in PGS subtitles ( Presentation Graphics ) in a MKV file and used todvrms with -allstreams and -subtitles to see if the PGS streams get copied over to the resulting WTV file, but even if todvrms runs ok, i cannot verify if the PGS streams are actually present in the WTV file.

Anyone else tried ?

I will try to examine a wtv recording with dvb subtitles and see if I can somehow see what type of streams are being used.
