I run DVRMSToolbox as a service.

If FW didn't know what files it already processed, wouldn't it enter a loop and keep processing the same files in a directory?

How does FW know which files are already processed?

It doesn't. It watches for new files and keeps track of them while it's running.

For Example: If you have FW set to process shows after the recording finishes, and you restart FW in the middle of a recording, it won't process that show when it finishes recording, because it "forgot" the file was newly created.
