I use different profiles for commercial detection based on the channel. I use the comskip advanced plugin to use a different .ini file and do some additional processing for some channels.  I am trying to get live detection working. I followed the directions, but am not sure how to incorporate them into my custom profiles.  

Presently, I just added the "scan with Comskip" before the find commercial, but it isn't working.  I also don't see how it could since it doesn't know which comskip .ini to use.  

are your custom ini files configured to output while scanning?

can you post a log file?

metadata should be available so the ini files should work.

 My ini files all have:

output_dvrmstb=1
live_tv=1                    ; set to 1 if you use parallelprocessing and need the output while recording
live_tv_retries=300            ; change to 16 when using live_tv in BTV, used for mpeg PS and TS
dvrms_live_tv_retries=3
