OK, I'm recording TV and having DVRMS strip the commercials out of my files perfectly.

 However, I have several dozen TV shows I have on my hard drive that have commercials, b/c I recorded them before I used DVRMS toolbox.  I have tried loading them all into one folder and "Processing Directory" but it only works for about one file at a time before freezing or running loops on me.

Any suggestions?  Can I just move these files into the 'watched folder" or do they need to be recording at the time to work?  Again, I have a folder worth of shows that I need processed just like my recorded tv is currently being processed.

you might do this

 use "DVRMStoMPEGGUI"

SELECT PROCESS DIRECTORY

SELECT SAME DIRECTORY AS PROCCESS OUTPUT 

 INPUT DIRECTORY WHERE EVER THESE FILES ARE CURRENTLY (note MUST BE *..dvr-ms FILES NO AVI OR MPG FILES)

 MIGHT RUN

 Find Commercials in DVR-MS*** FIRST TO SEE IF FINDS COMMERICALS

 THEN

Remove commercials, output DVR-MS, move to Recorded TV 

AND MAKE SURE  USE PROFILE IS SELECTED

sorry for all yelling.. :)

might also make sure that you can watch the video and the video is not HD some HD content causes problems with drivers.

easiest thing to do is move them to another folder then move them one at a time back into the watched folder.
