Afraid I don't have a copy of the earlier install file I used, but if you give me an email address I can zip up the contents of my /program files/babgVant/LCDwriter directory and send it to you. You could just try copying that into yours, and if there are no registry differences etc it ought to work.

I am assuming that Andy is either unable, or unwilling to provide an install file for this earlier version which seemed to work OK on x64 systems.

I restored a previous C image. (I had other reasons to want to revert to it.) Perhaps Andy can make some earlier LCDWriter versions available on the downloads page?

Yes, I uninstalled and rebooted, then installed etc. In fact I have just repeated the process to be sure and I get the same result.

I have now reverted to an earlier version of LCDWriter, which is working fine.

No. It's possible that MSAS got disrupted. Did you uninstall first? Reboot after?

Thanks for the response and i am indeed using the latest version... I've only just built my moneual 320 and was extremely pleased to find this gem of a program :) I'm just trying to understand the behaviour of LCDwriter and ensure I've set it up correctly. Thanks again Anthony

LcdWriter was last updated 02/05/12.

Ok let me describe exactly what is happening and then you can tell me if it's by design.. :) Upon start mce will display date and time for everything except on playing music (shows duration) playing a recorded episode (shows duration) and live tv (shows how far into the show we are on the right and where we are in terms of watching on the left... Ie if we pause live tv the left counter pauses and the right counter carries on incrementing.) When a show is recording the display will show mediacenter, guide, recorded tv, music etc....when I go into the various sections of mce as per the priority that i set in the config.. And then music playing, recorded tv playing and live tv as above.... Is this expected behaviour? Please don't think I'm complaining as this made the display useable :) and I'm very pleased.
