With Media Center on the death march from Microsoft, I am looking for a way to get all of my WTV DVD rips converted to a more open format.
I have been using AutoRipNCompress for the past two years to Rip my DVD collection utilizing MakeMKV and convert to WTV (Uncompressed) profile. I am not an expert at media format conversions, but I believe that both MKV and WTV are just containers? So that makes me think it would be possible to simple flip those WTV files back to MKV format.
Can anyone make a recommendation for the best way to get my DVD rips in uncompressed WTV back into MKV format?
Here is an example log from one of the rips I would be looking to get back into MKV format:
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
