I've ripped all my sons dvd's and consequently they take up far too much room! I need to compress them! The settings seem to work well when I rip and compress from Auto rip n Compress but using the same profile directly in Handbrake only takes about 30 minutes to compress a film, rather than 3 hours or so when I run it from Auto Rip n Compress. Does anyone know whether different settings are called (I guess they are as the plugin creates mkvs rather than the default mp4 for the profile), and if so, what they are?
