I am trying to figure out what the best format is to convert .avi's to a format will play well on the DMA2100/2200. The problem is that any container that works well with the DMA's degrades the quality whether it be WMV or Mpg.
Can anyone suggest a profile that would allow me to maintain quality of the source .avi while have all the playback features (ffw,rw, resume, etc.) on the DMA 2100/2200.
I've tried mpg, wmv, dvr-ms. The one that maintained quality the best but had a strange playback. Also it only worked when converting from .mkv, for some reason didn't work with .avi
I've seen an option before for dvr-ms to WMV-HD, could this be applied to convert an avi to WMV-HD?
Any suggestions?
