    TS to WTV without transcoding?

    Is there an easy way to convert a .ts file to .wtv without decoding and re-encoding the stream?    Specifically, I'd like to convert a Hauppauge Colosuss recoding into a .wtv (or .dvr-ms) such that WMC will treat the file like a TV recording.    I tried the obvious with todvrms without much luck:

     C:\Users\mike>todvrms "Z:\Work\2011_12_7_12_12_20.ts" "D:\video\ColosussTest.wtv" -v -d -allstreams -wtv

    All streams mode
    Get stream pin
    Find Video pin
    No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection.
    arg[0] = Z:\Work\2011_12_7_12_12_20.ts
    arg[1] = D:\video\ColosussTest.wtv
    arg[2] = -v
    arg[3] = -d
    arg[4] = -allstreams
    arg[5] = -wtv

    Did you regsvr32 the filters that come with ToDVRMS?

    Ahh, much better.   Registered h264decfilterB, h264encfilterB and mpegdecB and it happily created the WTV.

    Unfortunately, WMC gets a decoder error when attempting to play the file, but WMP plays the file fine.    Is there something else I need to register?   I've installed the AntiPack on this machine as well as the Haali splitter.   I have not installed any of the Colossus Media Center drivers.   Do I need that to play mp4 in WMC?

    Thanks
