 I really don’t want this to be a lifelong project.  It's just so annoying, here I sit with these files and I can’t do a thing with them and there is no CLEAR instructions that I have been able to come up with.

I don't remember, does the TVPack have the WTVConverter?  It would be stored in the %/Windows/Ehome folder.

Yes I have that folder, but I have searched the entire computer (all drives) for "WTVConverter" and got nothing

Hmmm.  Well you have a couple of options then.

 1. Give toDVRMS a try.

2.  Use the DTB Video Editor to convert to mpg.  You'll need to install AVIVO from the amd.com website to do this.

3.  Try the wtvconverter here.  Requires Java.
