Convert DVR-MS with commercial skip and SRT burned in?

I downloaded the 1.2.2.2 and I am really impressed with what you have put together.

I am trying to figure out how to create a video that has had the commercial skipped and the SRT burned in.  Original file is a DVR-M.

Suggestions on how to do this?  I've tried a few things but cannot seem to get the SRT burned in.

    Thanks,

    Donnie

You mean hard sub the SRT or embed it in in another container w/ the A/V streams from the original file?

Sorry...I mean hard subs.  I know native mencoder allows for this but I am having a difficult time getting dvrmstoolbox to do it.

     Any suggestions?

Do you know the syntax?  I've never tried to get mencoder to do that.

    mencoder -profile MPG-AC3 -sub show.srt -subpos 95 -sub-bg-alpha 50 -utf8 show.dvr-ms -o show.mpg

Burns it into the outputed show.mpg file.
