DTBAddin Issue can't get The Change Resolution to Work

I am new to DVRMSToolbox and the DTBAddin and have just installed both on a windows 7 x64 box with ATI HD 5570 video card with catalyst 10.7. On the Change Resolution Tab I tried mapping all the drop downs to the same (native resolution) ie: 480p was mapped in the drop down to 480p. The prompt to change box and Change back when stopped was checked. I closed the settings and went into MC and launched a DVD from MyMovies3 - it played at my desktop resolution of 1080p/60 and I didn't get a prompt at all. Next I opened the Change Resolution settings and checked the Change Resolution box and closed again - launched DVD again with same results. Last thing I tried was to uncheck the prompt to change box, but the movie still played back at desktop resolution of 1080p/60.

System software consists of:

What file type are your movies? Do you have it in the list? wtv? vob? mkv? mp4? iso?

Is the movie playing in MC? Can you try something besides a DVD (I don't think I tested DVDs, probably forgot to see if they could work)?

Yes the movie is playing fine (but of course the resolution is 1080p not 480p) in MC using MC default player launched from MyMovies. I have all my DVD and BD ripped to my WHS box in folder structure. I also tried recorded HDTV in DVR-MS files which also played back at 1080p not 720p or 1080i. I do have some .avi home movies that I can try out to see if it will work - I will give it a try tomorrow got to get my daughter ready for bed.

I did a clean install of DBT and DBTAddin and ShowAnalyzer and tried again with DVD Folders, .vob files, .avi., m2ts, .wtv and .dvr-ms all with wmc default player in wmc - still nothing - no prompt, no change in resolution. At this point I don't know what else to try.

Check "Log MSAS Events" in the setttings tool. Something very strange is happening.

I check the box "Log MSAS Events" box in the Addin TAB I then click save and it closes the settings, when I open the settings tool again it is unchecked? I then checked the box and left the application open and launched WMC and played 2 different recorded TV programs and then launched a DVD movie - same results: I am pasting all the logs that were in Public > DBT folder: It doesn't look like the condition for logging MSAS Events gets reset to TRUE.
