DVRMSToolbox Win7 64bit will not save settings.

I am trying to set up DVRMSToolbox on my Win7 64 machine but I found that if I change some of the settings and click on save once you come back to check them they didnt stick.

I am trying to set the "Suppress Not Found" option on the Commerical Skip Tab. You can put a check in the box and when you click on the "Save" box at the bottom the window closes, then if you reopen it and check it the check mark is gone.

    I am running Ver 1.2.2.0

    Does anyone have any ideas??

     Same problem.  Really annoying.

Definitely look forward to a fix since of course not being able to save settings makes the software useless.

Are you saying that none of your settings save or just the one you pointed out?

Ah, sorry, re-reading the original post I see that the report is only for a single setting.

I was interested in trying v1.2.2.0 on my Win 7 64 bit setup but wasn't going to bother if it couldn't save (any) settings.

Is the suppress the 'cannot skip past end of show' message setting still the below reg key?

     HKLM\Software\DVRMSToolbox\CommercialSkip, SuppressSkipDialog = 1

I just installed 1.221 R4 on x64 Win7 and Suppress Not Found while checked, doesn't actually work. The addin is still prompting when it doesn't find a commercial skip file. What is the registry entry that needs to be created? I suspect this is not being created.

Out of curiosity, did you already confirm the one I posted is not there?

I had that one from some old notes on a previous version before the interface had this setting.

I didn't even see DVRMSToolbox under HKLM/Software. I suppose I could try manually adding it to see if that does the trick.

DTB is a x86 application, the DTBAddin is x64 so it should look at the x86 settings (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\DvrmsToolbox).  Only recent builds do this so make sure you have the latest.

So will creating the below key in a DvrmsToolbox 1.2.2.0 + DTBAddin 1.0.0.5 Win 7 64 bit install suppress the 'cannot skip past end of show' message?

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\DvrmsToolbox\CommercialSkip, SuppressSkipDialog = 1

I verified that DTB sets HKLM\Software\DVRMSToolbox\CommercialSkip\SuppressNotFound to 1, but when I use the addin, I still get the "Commercials file not found" dialog.

The value does persist now though compared to prior builds. I am using DTB 1.2.2.1 and x64 Add-in 1.0.0.5. Is the add-in perhaps looking for the reg entry in the wrong place?

I thought we were talking about the cannot skip past end of show message.

The commercials file does not exist message simply indicates the file wasn't processed or there weren't any commercials (unless something has changed with DVRMSToolbox since previous versions.

OP (Rob_01) above is talking about the "Supress Not Found" option.

Oops thanks, I see now, two different settings.

Would still like to confirm/deny one/both can be set (via reg key or other) in v1.2.2.0 with Win 7 64 bit.
