CoreAVC 2.0 is out with Windows 7 support

Just curious what information people can provide about CoreAVC 2.0.  I have a windows 7 media center w/ shark's pack  installed.  I am no expert but I always seem to be having issues with mkv's, m2ts files etc.  Is core AVC 2.0 a better way to go?

    a codec noob.

    You don't need it.

Get the latest Haali Splitter and install it correctly.

    M2TS w/ VC-1 don't play right in 7MC,  so I'd remux them to MKV.

oh noessss, really.  I have been busy remuxing all of my mkv's to m2ts.  This was my plan orginally, as I use 7MC with a couple of 360 extenders.  I have converted all of my mkv's that use ac3 to m2ts using tsmuxer.  720p files play fine on the 360.  FFD and RWD are slow but it works.  I am also using Audio converter to convert mkv's w/ DTS to mkvs w/ AC3, then converting to m2ts.  It seems to be working OK, although I realize my movies with subs will not work, but I am ok with that for now.I really don't want any codec packs installed on my machine so I thought this was the way to go.  I was hoping CoreAVC was a simpler solution.  Any thoughts on plan outlined above?

7MC comes with a very capable h.264 decoder, CoreAVC is redundant.

If the files are h.264/ac3 you can convert them to WTV and get a much better experience in MC.
