Does commercial skipping work with Vista TV pack yet?

Hi I know that there was a problem with commercial skipping and Vista TV pack a while back.  Has this issue been resolved in the latest DVRMSToolbox version (i.e. 1.2.1.9)?

I'd like to get the clear-QAM capability in my TV tuner working with Vista MCE.  But can only do so if I install TV pack.  However, I didn't want to do this since it would then break DVRMSToolbox commercial skipping capability which I use alot.

So, I just wanted to check before I bother trying to install TV pack on my Vista machine.

BTW, I also noticed that there's a separate "Vista Media Center DTB Addin - 1.2.1.9" download in addition to the "DVRMSToolbox - 1.2.1.9" download.  Are both of these necessary to get commercial skipping working in Vista Media Center?

Finally, is showanalyzer the only commercial skipping app that works with wtv files? That is, I suppose comskip still can't process wtv files.  What's SAV1?  Is that another commercial skipping app?  Can it process wtv files?

No, and from what I hear and all evidence points to the fact it'll never work. Microsoft broke something in it.

     Get Win7 or downgrade.

Thanks for the info.  I had hoped that Microsoft would have fixed what they broke by now ...
