    Win7 Live Skipping Doesn't Work

I'm using Windows 7 build 7100 x86, the official RC 1. I'm using ShowAnalyzer v1.0.31.680 and DVRMSToolbox v.1.2.1.7. If I record a show and watch it later, everything works as expected. If however, I record a show and start watching it while it's still recording, it acts as if the addin is not working at all. Commercials are not skipped. Even pressing the right arrow key is not caught by the addin, even though I have the Handle Keys options checked in the settings application. But if I stop the recording, restart watching it, everything works great. The odd thing that I see while I'm watching it live is numerous events written to the event log by the CommercialSkipAddin that simply say: User: josh Stop

I've been told that restarting Media Center, or restarting the computer can help fix this problem. I tried that last night, and it still didn't work.

you may need to remap keys, I think it works different in 7.

enable detailed logging and post up the log file.

It is working for me.  The key that I think you may have missed is the hand off of DVRMSToolx's File Watcher to Showanalyzer for programs still being recorded.  There is a setting in there on how many seconds to wait for writes to stop before the show is processed.  I set this to 0, by default I think it is 5.

Now, if you are trying to skip commercials in actual "Live TV" then it's not going to work, the plugin only activates when you are in the "recorded tv" section of 7MC.

That said there is a different issue described in my other post:  http://babgvant.com/forums/t/2604.aspx
