 i've used this program for years to skip commercials.  I noticed yesterday that the autoskip wasn"t working (xml's are created).

i figured i did something and uninstalled and reinstalled however skipping dosent happen also i noticed that i'm not prompted to scan on files that don't have xml's.

 

it's like the program isn't running. how do i start it, or reinstall wthout saving previous rules.

I am having the same issue.  I had to rebuild my Vista box and go to install the latest version of DVRMSToolbox.  Have it set up exactly the same way I did before with all of the same settings (took screenshots of settings, even Show Analyzer settings).  The service is running and XML files are created after a show finishes.  The log files indicate the tv program files are being processed and no errors indicated - again XML files are created.  But when viewing a recording the plugin is not functioning.  Pressing the Down arrow on the remove used to turn off the autoskip but now it just shows the mini-guide.  The Right arrow does nothing.  I have rebooted the machine many times.  I uninstalled and reinstalled and still now success other than the XML files are created.

 Anyone have any suggestions?

Apparently not.  I downloaded DVRMSToolbox 1.2.1.7 and went through the install process from running the setup.exe application within that ZIP file.  Downloaded ShowAnalyzer automatically and started that up to enter my registration information for ShowAnalyzer.  Will you point me to the install for the addin that I am supposed to install as a seperate item?

Thanks.  I wasn't aware that it was a stand alone install now.  I will give that a shot and I'm sure that it will work after that.

It was in the release notes, and linked from the blog post. 

 I have downloaded the addin I admit I didn't read the notes, however, still not working. when I use the down button like beforte all I get is the miniguide and the abilty to move up and down.  As I said earlier it was probably a setting in toolbook that I messed up on and on all subsequent reinstall the setting is still messed up.

 you need to remap the keys to the number pad

 I don't use a Number pad, just my remote. I also have a wirless keyboard but that also has no keypad.
