    Saving file by date then episode title ?

    Hi Folks!

     I'm currently saving files by episode name and then date like this;

    The Jimmy - 1996

    It would be better to name them like this;

    1996 - The Jimmy

    That way I can watch a series in order. Is there anyway to get DVRMS to save the files that way?

    Hmmmm.... looks like step 11 should do it - thanks!

    Unless something has changed in the last few releases, you need step 9 to get the date in the format you want.  Otherwise it uses the "0000-00-00Z00:00:00" format.

    You do realize this is the XP forum which means I'm using 1.1.0.8 :-)

    It seems to be working now :-)

     I used the Durant.Plugins.AdvancedFileRename and set it like this;

    • ContextFile = Outputfile
    • NamePattern = %WM/MediaOriginalBroadcastDateTime% - %WM/SubTitle%
    • WhenFileExists = AppendGuid

    So far, so good :-)
