DVRMStoMPEG.exe keeps deleting the resulting commercial .txt file

After using any of the profiles that include skipping commercials with Comskip, when skipping is finished my "<recording>.txt" file is deleted.  I have my Comskip.ini file set for output_default=1.  During skipping, the file is indeed created, but is deleted RIGHT after the skipping is done!  I would like to retain that file for use with DVRcut.exe.

I also noticed if I kill the DVRMStoMPEG.exe service while the recording is being searched by comskip, the .txt file is retained and NOT deleted.  I test this by dragging a new dvrms file to the watched folder and the comskip is then automatically called by DVRMSfilewatcherservice, and DVRMStoMPEG.exe is called.  If I llow the DVRMStoMPEG.exe process to continue running, the .txt file from comskip is deleted when skipping is completed.  However if I terminate the DVRMStoMPEG.exe service, the .txt file stays, and reports there are commercials found.

How can I keep the DVRMStoMPEG.exe service from deleting the .txt files from my computer after comercial sckipping with comskip?

I am running Vista64 Ultimate, Comskip (bundled with DVRMSToolbox), and DVRMSToolbox 1.2.1.6

    the behaviour is by design.

dtb can cut dvr-ms files for you using its commercial format

The design is causing problems.  I don't want DTB to cut the commercials, unless it allows me to edit the commercial locations first.  Not all of the times are the commercials located correctly (halftime of an NBA game) and not all of the time is the ending of the show at the correct place (NBA games may go 2:45 or 3:15).

How can I intervene in DTB's commercial cutting process and adjust commercial locations?

Otherwise, how can DTB use a different temp file ("%~dpn1.dtb" or something else) other than the exact same one Comskip uses ("%~dpn1.txt")?

    Please help.

putting some effort into tuning the anaylzer should sort most of those issues.

I used a build of Toub's dvr-ms editor to trim files for archival.  If I have time I could customize my build to load the dtb xml files.
