I can't get Advanced Rename to work as of today.  I noticed the error with 1.2.1.4, but upgrading to 1.2.1.5 didn't help.  I'm trying this with a bare-bones profile that uses only the Advanced Rename action (see screenshot).

I may be that it's 5a, but I'm not seeing the problem. Both files exist, and the metadata exists in the XML file.  I'll take another look tomorrow (today?), but I thought I'd drop a quick post in case I am missing something obvious.

OK, found it.  I was only using Christmas specials, which, apparently, do not have an episode name.  So, the action was trying to read a property that didn't exist.  Removing that fixed it.

BTW, to get around it, just add a second action to "try" the alternate rename.  That is, if the end goal is "Fringe - 2008-11-26 - The Dreamscape.mp4", call AdvancedRename twice:

• First rename to just %Title% - %originalAirDate%
• Then, rename to %Title% - %originalAirDate% - %episode%, but select "Continue on fail"

Now, the profile will rename it to "Fringe - 2008-11-26.mp4".  Then, it will try to rename it to "Fringe - 2008-11-26 - The Dreamscape.mp4".  However, if the %episode% tag doesn't exist, it will still have "Fringe - 2008-11-26.mp4", instead of failing completely or leaving you with "Fringe-TheDreamscape-1355194-0.mp4".
