    Comskip won't run

    Hi,

    Thanks in advance for any and all help. 

    I went through the proceedure for comskip not working, I found an error in the event viewer, but I have no clue what to do.

    My system has Vista Premium,  I use a registered copy of Showanalyzer, and I've done my best to follow all the proceedures.    When I open Media Center it shows 4 errors like this....

     

    User: Allen System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'System.String' to type 'System.String['. at Durrant.Common.BaseSettings.get_WatchedTvPath() at babgVant.MediaCenter.CommercialSkipAddIn.CommercialSkip.GetCurrentFileInfo(Int32 ProcessId)

     

    I'm sure I've done something wrong, but what is it, and how do I fix it.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\Recording, WatchedFolders should be a REG_MULTI_SZ (string array) what is it on your system?

    That seems to have fixed those errors.  Commercials still aren't being skipped, but I will do more troubleshooting this week.
