    todvrms behavior

I am having a tricky problem with todvrms.  Certain recorded shows (.wtv format) are stubborn and will not easily let todvrms convert them to dvr-ms.  I end up with a small file (couple hundred K, it varies) that is not correct.  If I keep trying, eventually it will work, but it may take MANY tries.  I noticed in another post that a person mentioned having a similar problem as a side note to his other problem.  I turned on the verbose mode, it it looks like the file is processing, no errors genereated, but when it is done, the resulting file is bad.  I have noticed that when the destination file is first created, it is 9.13K in size, and sits at that size until done, and then ultimately endsup at some random size of around a coupe hundred K.

I would think the source file was to blame, but it will eventually convert if I keep trying.

Is it possible that the  "-w" option will help with this or does this option set the amount of time to wait in case the source file is actually still recording?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

As always, THANKS to Andy for the incredible tools!

-w helps if you writing is taking longer than expected (converting across the network for e.g.).  i haven't done much converting (haven't been spending much time in fiji) so i don't have much help to offer.
