Hey guys, Im using dvrmstoobox to cut commercials and convert my shows to mpeg, but what id like to do it is keep the original copy of the show and then cut comercials,convert to mpeg and move this version to my network share. all while keeping the orginal dvrms file on my media center box. .but each of the profiles ive tried remove the original file.  Can someone tell me how to change this so i can make a copy of the file.

If you open the profile in the settings tool it will list all of the actions that will be performed.

The best approach is to create a new profile from an existing one and remove the actions that you don't want.
