I'm using mencoder to cut commercials out of Sage recordings.  It's a straight copy of the streams, so I don't need any scaling, but in order to use the mencoder Profile in DTb, I have to provide a value for #dtbhres, and it appears I need to include the "-vf" flag.  Is there a way around this?  Thanks!

No, the command line is:

mencoder “InputFile” -edl “SageEDLFile” -oac copy -ovc copy -of mpeg -o “OutputFile.mpg”

However, when I do a RunExternal (as a workaround), it's not doing anything.  I'm using a test Profile that just runs this command line (on SD source).  I haven't given it a ton of testing, yet.

#dtbhres="-vf pp=md,scale={0}:-10,harddup" if you want to scale

#dtbhres="-vf pp=md,harddup" if you don't

I understand about removing the scaling, but I don't want to apply any video filters (including deinterlacing or harddup) - just a straight copy.  That said, I really have no idea how (if at all) those video filters impact a straight stream copy.  When I posted this, though, I couldn't get DTb to run through the mencoder action (I still can't, but it also fails using RunExternal, so there's something else going on).

I'm not that familar with the different mencoder switches so I can't help with that.  I can tell you that the  #dtbhres value is inserted after the -o

 lol - no worries, I understand!  I'm going to table this for a couple of weeks, but I'll post an update when I get it working.
