Is there a way to use ReocordingBroker to schedule recordings from within VMC to another computer? Say I have a few computers with no TV tuner (but I did it to displaying the guide) and I want a schedule recordings to the central living room htpc - is that possible under RecordingBroker? I really rather not use Webguide if possible.

if they show up as scheduled recordings, I don't see why it wouldn't work.  how did you enable the guide on a PC with no tuner?

It's hardly a good method, but I got the guide working by plugging in an USB tuner and confguring the guide, then repeating this on all my computers. 

I know RecordingBroker should work, but it doesn't. Are there any steps I'm missing? I typed in the Host name, clicked save, exited, open the config again, and tested it (it works). I went to the computer with no tuner (but with EPG) and scheduled a few recordings. I checked on the computer with tuner in a few minutes (I chaned the poll time to 5sec so it should be there already), but it wasn't. Did I miss anything?

 Yes, I did enable "broker everything" on both machines.

 yes.  most of it's done, hopefully next week sometime.

Just noticed this post that you are updating recording broker.  Just want to put in my 2 cents and ask (again) that you consider adding options to:

1. Broker the recording even if the program has already started (this would be very useful when i'm watching something in my bedroom and want to broker it to the living room before I shut off the bedroom box for the night)

2. Broker series.
