What am I doing wrong?

Found the answer to my own question...

What i didn't see was the cleanup section in the same area where the "delete XML"...

For a future version it might be a good idea to add a delete edl dialog as it took a good bit of searching forums to figure it out (actually found the answer on the showanalyzer forum)

what do you envision for the dialog?  i have thought about changing the default values to cleanup txt and edl files...

maybe a checkbox for "delete  xml & edl" or a "cleaneup data files"

that's essentially what the it does now; you just have to tell it what files to cleanup so it's more flexible than me forcing a set of extensions.  I think I'll set a default so it's clearer in the next rev.

In all honesty it was clear-ish... I just had to read the docs a 2nd or 3rd time.

Thing is I am playing around with a lot of stuff here so I don't want to adjust something in on place and have it mess other things up.

that is one drawback to the way DTB is designed, it has almost no fail safes.  the learning curve is steep (poor documentation doesn't help either), but the upside is that there is almost unlimited potential.

what extensions do you guys have set for cleanup? i have .xml and .txt, but they aren't being deleted..

xml files get cleaned up via a different process, where this feature should clean them up immediately from the recorded tv folder when the dvr-ms file is removed.
 

i have xml files in my folder from 1/29... is it not working?
