I have been working on this for a while and can't seem to get it to work.  I am using MCE 2005 sp2 and Dtb with the show analyzer.  I have followed the instructions here to the letter and can't seem to get anything to work.  The controls up, down etc don't do a thing.  I am not sure what is going on.

I am on a AMD X2 system with a haupauge WinTV 500.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Please follow the trouble shooting steps, and report the results of each step.

Make sure ShowAnalyzer is configured to put the XML files in the DTb CommercialXML folder. And that DTb has the same folder selected.

SA doesn't actually need to be configured to output the files at all.  I have SA configured to not output anything, DTb will put the file where it belongs.  The only time you need to set the xml file location for SA is if you use it directly.

Well nothing happens,  The commericals are still in all the recordings and i cannot skip them with the up down etc.

Got it working now thanks! Aplogies.

Really strange on a new install of MCE, I thought I had installed rollup 2, and Windows Update did not even list rollup 2 to be installed under software the first day of a new install of MCE. I think it was a MS booboo. Today I checked WU and low and behold update 2 was there to install.
