    Audio Stream not correctly identified

Hi - I have been running the standard DVR-MS to MPEG profile and sometimes the audio stream does not seem to be correctly identified in the MPEG file.

They all play perfectly in WMP with audio but in other video edit programs like Nero or Womble's mpeg-vcr there is no audio. I have inspected the mpeg files using VideoInspector and the ones that have the no audio problem are reported as Audio channels 2:Sample Rate 0hz:Bit Rate 0: Codec MPEG Audio Reserved Reserved. On a 'good' file - same TV programme & channel just a different day but converted at the same time the audio is reported like this: Audio channels 2:Sample Rate 48000hz:Bit Rate 112Kbps: Codec MPEG 1 Layer 2

Any ideas whay this is happening?

Another strange thing is that when I list the CODECs I get some MS Video ones listed three times in a row and Audio Codecs listed twice - is this normal or could it be something to do with the registration of the CODECs

    Running Vista Home Premium
