When's the next version coming? 1.2.0.9 not worth the effort.

I was curious when to expect something more reliable than 1.2.0.9.  I can't reliably convert any of my dvrms to mp4 using ffmpeg.  Using the filewatcher and even with DTB GUI there are times when things start, no logs indicate any problems but nothing finishes it just hangs at various places.  Under filewatcher I get a large number of DVRMMPEG.EXE processes created when I look in task manager.  Sometimes I can kill some and one will take off and complete.  Most the time I'm SOL.

I'm even having issues just starting the DTB GUI and getting it to complete processing on a folder full of dvrms files.  I'm using the standard export to ipod with ffmpeg profile.

Any hints or help?  This used to be a very stable set of processes and now I just get very frustrated.   I'd love to provide any help/troubleshooting info I can.

    Anxiously awaiting 1.2.1.0 Public Release...

Similar problems here, though I'll avoid biting the hand that feeds...  :-)

I can have Comskip proess all kinds of pre-recorded content, but as soon as I try Live Detection, it works once, then dies until I reboot the computer.  I also get the multiple instances of DVRMStoMPEG as seen above.

i think the multiple copies are for each instance it's running a file. do you have a lot of pre recorded tv that hasn't been analyzed? One DVRMStoMPEG.exe for each show being transcoded. There's an option somewhere to change the amount of "workers" you want running at once i believe.

what kinda specs does your computer have, try setting the workers to 1 or 2. what does your CPU and RAM usage go to when all of these processes are running, how much processor does each instance take up, how much ram does each one take up?

If you have even a decent computer running that many instances at once could take a while to complete. how long do you let them run before you shut them down?

try not to *** about the instability. there is one man working on this project, and it's completely free. I know you are frustrated (so was i when i couldn't get it to run under a x64 enviorment) just keep trying!

I think there may be some systemic issue with the most recent update because 1.1.0.7 (MCE 2005) has the same issue.  Filewatcher keeps spinning up dvrmtompeg.exe processes but does not do anything.  If you kill theprocess in taskmanager you should find it processes 1 show but then you are back to the same position.  I have done a clean install and all I can think is that this is some core issue with the update.  If babgvant can comment on this it would be appreciated!  I am using SA so it is not specific to comskip.
