Hello out there, I am new to Media Center as I have been using Tivo for years but am now using Media Center since it cuts out the need to download the programs. My ultimate goal is to get the program converted to mp4 format w/o the commercials so I can load the programs onto either my iPod or PSP. My probelm is I was using DTB to convert the dvr-ms files to MPEG w/o commercials using the ffdshow option. Worked beautifully but whenever I convert it to mp4 the sudio is out of sync, this happens anytime I convert more than one time (on going issue with e program I use, have had trouble with DVD with certain types of encryption). To get it to work I have to convert it to avi first. Very time consuming. I tried using mencoder and checked skip commercials, and put in the path to where the edl files are going but everytime it does a full conversion with commercials and all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
