I have been using Vista Ultimate (x86) and MCE with 1.2.0.6 and commercial skip worked fine. I decided to upgrade today since a couple of the bug fixes enticed to upgrade. To say the least, 1.2.0.8 is now NOT working. I first installed with show analyzer and uninstalled and installed and uninstalled (too many times). Current install is w/o show analyzer (I don't want to mess with the trial).
I have tried this: http://babgvant.com/forums/thread/5131.aspx without success. And I have read thru a bunch of the other stuff and don't think i have found the answer.
I have an HP with 3 gig ram. 300gb hard drive, using a 920 pentium D two processing core system. Any help appreciated.
I have not yet tried to uninstall 1.2.0.8 and reinstall 1.2.0.6 yet.
EDIT: Ok, found the suppress notice in the regedit and changed it. seems to be workign so far. No more file not found.
