- Fix a bug where folder based sources didn't signal EOF properly

Any idea why seeking on these files either barely works or doesn't work at all using VLC or Windows Media Player.  Output format is .mp4 h.264 aac.  This is for a .wtv file or VIDEO_TS folder.  It takes at least 45 seconds to seek on Windows and on my Android phone seeking doesn't work at all, but a file converted using a different method with the same format works fine.

I haven't been able to reproduce it. Can you share the settings you're using?

Just basic settings

qstranscode.exe -i "D:\My Movies\Die Hard 2- Die Harder\VIDEO_TS" -o "D:\Test.mp4" -w 640 -h 360 -b 800 -h264 -aac

I just tried with those settings, and seeking is instantaneous in VLC and WMP. Do you have the latest drivers installed? Is the framerate being detected properly (detecting soft telecine before it matters is still something of an issue).

Will there be a function to add borders/letterboxes before encoding?

What's the use case?

I have to make 1080p Videos, but the source is cropped (without borders).

That task is best left to the renderer.

Why do you want to encode noise into the file?

Because the AVCHD standard has just 1080px height :(
