SageDCT 1.6

 1.6
- Staticly assign discovered tuners to specific ports
- Fix a bug in encoder generation

VERY IMPORTANT - SageDCT 1.6 introduces a feature to statically assign tuners to a specific port.  Existing users must disable this feature in the config tool or regenerate the encoders for SageTV for SageDCT to function properly after installation.  If you have customized your EPG channel lineup it is probably easier to only overwrite the encoding_host value per tuner.

Hi Andy

Am I correct in realizing that SageDCT will only run on Win7? (it installed on my win7x64 machine, but pops up a message of incorrect OS on my XP machine)

Am I correct in understanding that we'll never be able to record the subscription channels (e.g. HBOHD) as they say "encrypted"?

Thanks

Wayne

SageDCT should work on XP, I'll change the installer to stop enforcing that (you can use Orca to do it if you don't want to wait).

Yes, SageDCT will only work with Copy-Freely content.

Hi Andy

SageDCT v1.7 pops up the following message on install on XP:

Error 1001: Value cannot be null.

Parameter name: type

When you click ok, you get another pop up "...exception occurred duroing the Rollback phase..."
