There's something about slick hardware that compels me to code for it. So when I got a new phone it was time to create modern version of my trusty Windows Media Player server and remote. The solution is separated into to parts:
Music Server - a (WCF) system tray application that exposes Windows Media
Player for remote device control.
Music Controller - the WP7 application that communicates with Music Server.
I also created a couple other applications for practice.
Futbol Assistant - tracks time and goals per half in a soccer game
Launch Tracker - tracks current and max speed as well as times to 30, 60 and 100 MPH or KPH. Also supports saving launch history capturing current altitude and weather conditions.
I'm really excited about the platform, it's really easy to be productive and I'd love to get more practice so if you have a killer app idea let me know.
