a couple of quick questions for you, i'm trying to convert some uk recordings with 2 audio streams

1 - is Haali Splitter source filter the same as the mkv splitter?

2 - What do i have to put in the box for the as option (i'm using the gui) is it a number (stream 1 or 2) or something like 0x1?

Thanks for any help and its a great program

Spooky timing seeing a dupe post yesterday. Same question really...

Thanks for a superb tool and choosing the audio stream will hopefully help us convert recordings which currently default to a silent audio track. e.g. DVB-T wtv files in the UK on some channels and the audio descriptive track.

I've tried -as1 and -as2 but couldn't get still get a silent dvr-ms output. What sort of format is expected and also, is there a recommended tool to examine wtv and see what the audio streams are numbered?

Thanks again!

The Haali splitters can be downloaded here - haali.cs.msu.ru/.../MatroskaSplitter.exe

The easiest way to see the tracks is to use GraphStudio, add the Haali Splitter (or simple splitter) then right click on the audio pin to see the streams.

Specify -as # (1,2,3 etc) to select the stream.

thanks, i think i've  got the hang of graphstudio now but i cant get the haali splitters to open a wtv file. ive been messing around with a mkv file for practice and it all works on that but i get "cannot load specifed file" error on dvr-ms and wtv files

Thanks for helping

WTV can only be opened by SBEv2 filters.  I don't have a multi-audio stream wtv file to work with, so I don't know how that works.

I can easily sort you one out if you like, a lot of dvb-t stuff in the uk is broadcast with the normal audio track and a visually impared mono track as well

afraid its on rapidshare.

rapidshare.com/.../Scrapheap_Challenge_More_4_2009_01_25_13_26_05.wtv

Its a 5 min clip of with dual audio, whenever i convert it with to dvrms it selects the mono visually impared track.

Thanks for taking a look
