Still no drivers?

It baffles me that 1 1/2 months after retail release (lets not count the months since RTM) any mainstream, modern piece of hardware would still not have some drivers (I'd accept some beta ones at this point, although that would still be shameful).  Some have blames MS for this issue, but the problem clearly lies with the hardware vendor (Epson in this case).

Baffling indeed... my Lexmark X5250 still doesn't have driver support for Vista. Luckily, it's not my only printer. Canon's been kind enough to provide drivers for the IP4000 model (gorgeous printer by the way) at Vista's launch time. But what are those people to do whose only printer is not supported under Vista yet? Buy a temporary printer to satisfy their printing needs until the manufacturer decides the time has come to finally make the driver available? And we're not talking about ancient printers, the model is only two, max. three, years old.
